Job Description

Become part of Faysal Bank as Trainee Relationship Associate – SME

This is a leading program through which talented fresh graduates are being hired at our Commercial Banking & Small-Medium Enterprise (CBSME) business. Under mentorship of senior managers, the program aims to impart best training to selected candidates with the objective to transform them into seasoned professionals and future leaders of the bank and industry.

Post-Training Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Relationship Manager / Unit Head / Team Leader in given assignments
  • Conduct thorough due diligence of customers, and ensure that credit limits being proposed are in line with the need and financial strength of the clients
  • Prepare a comprehensive and detailed Risk Appraisal Package to identify potential risk exposure
  • Assess the risk associated with a particular obligor/facility
  • Provide accurate and timely information in a credit proposal to assist in the process of credit decision-making
  • Work with Credit Admin Department, Credit Risk Management, Islamic Banking Department, Shariah Compliance,  to ensure that all credit-related documentation is arranged in a timely manner to protect the interests of the Bank  
  • Liaise  with customer to resolve all exceptions related to credit maintenance
  • Liaise with internal/ external stakeholders (internal / external auditors/regulator) and provide required information in a timely manner as per management advise
  • Ensure compliance with SBP’s prudential/other regulations and with the prevalent policies & procedures of the Bank
  • Ensure complete adherence to the bank’s standard operating procedures as per laid down policies along with  housekeeping to safeguard the interest of the bank  

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Fresh graduates with ACCA Membership or 16 years education / BBA / MBA with a concentration in Finance / Banking / Economics or in a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university
  • or ACCA affiliate with a bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience is not necessary. However, candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience may also apply
  • Any qualification related to Islamic Banking & Finance will be a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills coupled with an ambition to learn and grow
