Role Purpose
The key role is to conduct thorough due diligence of the project from commercial aspect, legal perspective, and to ensure successful closure of mandated transactions as part of the project team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Review concession agreements of the project and conduct thorough due diligence of the project
- Analyze business models including running sensitivity analysis
- Prepare Information Memorandum, Term Sheets, teaser letters and other such documents for multiple clients, based on in depth analysis of macro and micro economic and market factors
- Prepare credit proposals for participation in transactions
- Liaise with external advisers (legal, technical, and insurance) to conduct detailed due diligence of projects
- Liaise with internal departments to arrange internal approvals, complete post approvals and disbursement documentation
- Liaise with consortium members, legal counsel, Shariah Advisors, and review legal agreements to ensure compliance of approval terms from commercial terms aspect
- Conduct research on economy and industry data to analyze business opportunities and customer needs
- Manage agency related functions of closed transactions
- Assist Unit Head / Head Investment Banking Group in originating new transactions
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 16 years education (Finance)
- Preference will be given to CFA charter holder
- 5-6 years’ banking experience in Investment Banking / Corporate Banking / Corporate Risk
- Excellent financial, quantitative, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Legal agreements reviewing and negotiation skills
